The agency operates an eight (8) – week Summer Program (Depending on site) starting the last week of June and continuing till the month of August for youth between the ages of six (6) and twelve (12). The program operates from five (5) different locations in Nassau County. In addition, an academic program with emphasis on reading comprehension, mathematics and writing skills will be included. Recreational and sports activities that foster team ethics, good sportsmanship and discipline will be integrated.
The Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau Count, Inc. continues to fulfill the academic needs of the youth Nassau County. Every year the EOC takes their youth from various youth programs on a 5-day college tour.
