At the Hempstead CAP, we provide a diverse array of services designed to support and uplift various groups within our community. These services include a Youth Council, Senior Citizen Program, Soccer Programs, Immigration Services, Translation Services, an On-Site Emergency Food Pantry, Department of Social Services Application Assistance, Social Security Application Assistance, as well as Rental/Mortgage Assistance, Utility Payment Assistance, and Summer Youth Programs.

Summer Youth Program
The agency operates an eight (8) – week Summer Program starting the last week of June and continuing till the month of August for youth between the ages of six (6) and thirteen (13). The program operates from five (5) different locations in Nassau County. In addition, an academic program with emphasis on reading comprehension, mathematics and writing skills will be included. Recreational and sports activities that foster team ethics, good sportsmanship and discipline will be integrated.
